Every year the hurricane experts at Colorado State University, Philip Klotzbach and William Gray, issue forecast for the upcoming hurricane season. This year they are forecasting an above average season. They cite the unusual warming of the tropical Atlantic for this early in the year, and conditions unfavorable for the development of El Nino as contributing factors for their predictions. We have recently extended our Iridium plans; most of which are pre-paid minute plans. For a full list please see below. Monthly Account The user pays a monthly subscription fee and is billed for the airtime used each month. The monthly subscription fee is $38.50 per month with a of 12 month contract. No activation fee. Airtime charges of $1.25 per minute for outgoing calls to land and cellular phone. Iridium to Iridium calls are $0.65 per minutes. SMS (text messages) are $0.42 per message.
