Iridium Plans Updated

We have recently extended our Iridium plans; most of which are pre-paid minute plans. For a full list please see below.
Monthly Account
The user pays a monthly subscription fee and is billed for the airtime used each month. The monthly subscription fee is $38.50 per month with a of 12 month contract.
No activation fee.
Airtime charges of $1.25 per minute for outgoing calls to land and cellular phone.
Iridium to Iridium calls are $0.65 per minutes. SMS (text messages) are $0.42 per message. Calls to other satellite systems are $10.00 per minute.
Pre Paid 3000 (Free Iridium 9555 Phone)
The user can buy 3000 minutes of airtime and receive a free Iridium 9555 phone at a cost of $3,725.00.
No line rental fee and no activation fee.
The card is valid for 2 years and can be topped up at any time during those 2 years to add minutes or additional months. Activation for additional months cost $45.00 per month added.
Pre Paid 500
The user can buy a 500 minute E-voucher at a cost of $645.00 with the purchase of a new Iridium phone.
Without the purchase of a new phone, the cost is $695.00.
No line rental fee and no activation fee.
The card is valid for 1 year and can be topped up at any time during the year to add minutes or additional months. Activation for additional months cost $45.00 per month added.
Pre Paid 200
The user can buy a 200 minute E-voucher at a cost of $495.00 with the purchase of a new Iridium phone.
Without the purchase of a new phone, the cost is $445.00.
No line rental fee and no activation fee.
The card is valid for 6 months and can be topped up at any time during the 6 months to add minutes or additional months. Activation for additional months cost $45.00 per month added.
Pre-Paid 75
The user can buy a 75 minute E-voucher, at a cost of $135.00 with the purchase of a new Iridium phone.
Without the purchase of a new phone, the cost is $160.00.
No line rental and no activation fee.
Activation for additional months cost $45.00 per month added.
ConUS Plan
The Restricted CONUS Prepaid e-voucher is tailored to provide the greatest value for continental U.S. (CONUS) emergency responders, businesses continuity, and individual preparedness for communication during disasters or loss of terrestrial communication links. This plan offers 100 minutes of airtime valid for 12 months. The plan features an Auto-recharge option that ensures that additional airtime minutes and expiry time is automatically applied before they run out.
This plan can only be use within continental U.S. (CONUS) and is targeted for disaster management within the lower 48 states. It does not provide the flexibility to travel outside of the U.S. and access the Iridium network. The plan price is $335.00 with the purchase of a new phone or $360.00 without purchase.
Pre Paid Africa Voucher – 300 minutes
This voucher provides a low rate for calls originating anywhere within the continent of Africa. It can however be used outside of Africa at a higher rate.
The cost per 300 minute voucher is $295.00 and multiple vouchers may be added at activation.
The SIM card can be recharged at any time during the 12 month validity with additional Africa vouchers thereby extending the activation period.
There is no line rental and no activation fee.
Africa vouchers cannot be added to an existing pre paid SIM card that is not on the Africa Plan.
Middle East and North Africa Plan – 500 Minutes
This voucher is intended for use from or within the Middle East and North Africa to International locations.
The cost for this voucher is $395.00 and is only available in single quantity per SIM card activation. There is no activation fee and no line rental.
There is no recharge available during the 12 month validity and the voucher cannot be added to any existing pre paid SIM card that is on another plan.
Any minutes remaining at the end of the 12 month period will be lost but the SIM card and voice number can be retained with the addition of a regular pre-paid voucher.
North America Plan – 4 Options
The North America vouchers work within the continental United States, Alaska, Canada and the majority of the Caribbean. Calls may be made from these Countries to any International location.
There are 4 price plans available at activation but only one voucher is allowed for new accounts and there is no recharge available. Once the minutes are used or the plan expires the card is still available to be activated with a regular pre-paid voucher.
The vouchers cannot be added to any other existing pre-paid plan.
All plans have a 6 month expiry period and there is no activation or monthly fee.
- North America 800 minutes costs: $695.00
- North America 2500 minutes costs: $1495.00
- North America 6000 minutes costs: $2495.00
- North America 30000 minutes costs: $3795.00
Northern Lights Plan
The Northern Lights pre-paid voucher is tailored to suit subscribers who call within Alaska and Canada.
The plan costs $160.00 for a 200 minute voucher and multiple vouchers may be added to the SIM card at the appropriate cost.
The expiry period is 6 months from the date of initial activation or 6 months from the date of recharging.
There is an activation fee of $60.00
